Zane joined Spire Capital in March 2025. He is responsible for transaction sourcing, executing new investments, and portfolio company management at Spire.

Prior to joining Spire, Zane was an Associate at NewSpring Capital working for the mezzanine strategy. While at NewSpring, Zane was responsible for underwriting debt and equity transactions and portfolio company management.

Zane holds a Bachelor’s degree from Davidson College where he majored in Economics and a Master’s in Accounting and Finance from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management.

Outside of work, Zane enjoys being at the beach with his family in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. Having played baseball at Davidson and growing up in Philadelphia, he spends the year attending and cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.
