Our Commitment to ESG

Spire Capital is committed to the ethos of responsible investment and believes that effective management of environment, social and governance (“ESG”) issues can create more sustainable investment portfolios.

Spire incorporates ESG considerations into investment analyses and ownership practices for all partner companies to create additional value for stakeholders and reduce financial, reputational risks. We work directly with partner companies to address relevant ESG risks, capitalize on opportunities as active owners, and monitor progress across the portfolio over time.

In developing our policy and approach, we have considered a range of industry standards, including the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (UNPRI), the UN Global Compact (UNGC) and the American Investment Council’s Guidelines for Responsible Investment.
