Turner Entertainment Networks Trials Landmark II

Turner Entertainment Networks Europe (TEN) is to trial Landmark II, Encoda Systems’ next generation media sales software system. The system will be employed in TEN’s European Sales Operations and Business Systems, which handles airtime sales in the UK and across Europe.

“Landmark II will be particularly useful to us as most of our European clients ‘cherry pick’ their airtime, rather than buy on ratings,” says Robert Murphy, TEN Director of European Sales Operations and Business Systems. “We are therefore booking large quantities of spots with complex sales models and we need swift response times and a ‘big picture’ view of available inventory. Also, improvements in the user interface will give us a lot more information on less screens.”

Landmark II is an evolutionary step for Encoda Systems’ well-known Landmark airtime sales and financial management software. The company has carried out fundamental redevelopment work, migrating the Landmark architecture to a Windows-based user interface and making the system completely configurable. Landmark II also provides multiple language operation, remote access via web browsers and advanced networking technologies that give maximum update speed with minimal network load.
