Pueblo, CO – September 7, 2010 – The Professional Bull Riders announced that they have hired 20-year sports and entertainment marketing industry veteran M. Dockery Clark as Chief Marketing Officer.
Clark will oversee the sport’s brand management and marketing, strategic communications and public relations, event marketing, ticket sales, customer service and consumer research.
“The PBR is fortunate to have someone with Dockery’s vast experience join our senior management team,” said PBR Executive Chairman Jeffrey N. Pollack. “We are building a best-in-class brand management and marketing function at the PBR and Dockery is the right person to lead this important work.”
Clark, who will report to Pollack, was most recently the Senior Brand Director of Sports and Entertainment Marketing for Miller Brewing Company and MillerCoors. She was responsible for the company’s sports, music, entertainment and experiential marketing portfolio, as well as its official sponsorships with the National Football League, NASCAR, Team Penske (#2 Miller Lite Dodge), the World Series of Poker, New York Fashion Week, the Ultimate Fighting Championships and more than 100 local market professional and collegiate sports teams.
Clark also served as the Senior Vice President and the Global Sports Marketing and Sponsorship Executive for Bank of America, the largest bank in the United States. She was responsible for developing the overall strategic direction for the bank in sports and alliance marketing and leveraging those activities to grow the Bank of America brand globally.

Sports Business Journal named Clark to its Top 40 under 40 and Top 25 Women in Sports lists, and Women in Sports and Events selected her as one of its three Women of the Year recipients in 2003. Clark was also named a Top 10 Newsmakers by the Charlotte Business Journal and received the publication’s Top 25 Women in Business Achievement Award. She has also worked for World Championship Tennis, ICI Americas and Lintas: Marketing Communications and Trone Advertising.
