Spire Capital Partners Continues Expansion with Promotion of Kerri McNicholas and Hiring of Karl Rodger and Rupali Varma.

NEW YORK, December 21, 2015 – Spire Capital Partners (www.spirecapital.com) announced the continued growth and expansion of the investment team.  Spire's investment professionals contribute uniquely and collectively to our firm's success as a lead and control investor in small market buyouts within the business services, information services, media, education and communications sectors.

Kerri McNicholas was recently promoted to Vice President after two and a half years of exceptional contributions to the Spire investment team.  Most notably, Kerri was a critical deal team member that was relied upon heavily as new investments were made out of Spire’s current investment fund. In addition to assisting in the initial acquisitions of Lighthouse eDiscovery, Surgent Professional Education and Performance Assessment Network, Kerri continues to work closely with portfolio company management teams to evaluate strategic acquisitions and grow the businesses.

We are also excited to announce that Karl Rodger recently joined the Spire Capital Partners team as a Vice President. Karl has 7 years of experience in private equity. Prior to joining Spire, Karl was a Vice President at Dubin Clark & Company, where he helped the team close 12 acquisitions and served on the Board of Directors for a number of portfolio companies. He began his private equity career at The Riverside Company in 2007. Karl received an MBA from Duke University and a BA from Vanderbilt University.

Also recently joining the Spire Capital Partners team is Rupali Varma.  Rupali is focused on deal sourcing, execution and portfolio company management. Prior to joining Spire, Rupali served as an Analyst in the Project Finance & Infrastructure Group and the Media and Communications Investment Banking Group at Citigroup. Rupali holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Marquette University.

“Kerri has been a tremendous asset to Spire and we look forward to continuing to rely on her hard work.  We are also very excited to introduce Karl and Rupali to our portfolio company management teams. The execution experience that Karl and Rupali bring to Spire will serve both our current management teams as well as all the future teams we will partner with. Spire is now well positioned to continue our significant growth,” said Andy Armstrong, Spire Capital’s Managing Partner.
