Inflow Announces National Nutrition Customer EAS
Denver, CO -- Today, Inflow Inc., a leading provider of managed web application hosting and outsourced IT services, announced the addition of new customer EAS, a science-based nutrition supplement company based in Golden, Colorado. EAS is recognized as the industry leader in active lifestyle nutrition products for elite athletes and active individuals. EAS distributes products domestically and internationally through direct sales and approximately 60,000 retail outlets.
“We are excited to have EAS on board,” said Leigh Wilbanks, general manager for Inflow in Denver. “A nationally prominent company like EAS has very stringent requirements for a managed services provider, and is exactly the type of customer that Inflow is designed to support. We look forward to developing our relationship further.”
“When we were evaluating providers, we were very pleased with Inflow,” said Dan Cory, vice president of information services at EAS. “Inflow’s pricing was reasonable, it had a process-oriented methodology incorporating ISO 9000, and the company’s business model was very clear. Everything was laid out well – there was no mystery.”
EAS was previously located at another provider in Seattle, WA, and was looking to move its operations closer to its headquarters in Golden, CO. The company was also looking to receive more reasonable pricing with a new provider.
“Our previous provider spiked its prices during the ‘Internet boom,’ and the prices never came back down,” said Cory. “We were very price conscious when we set out to look, and Inflow was extremely competitive.”
After evaluating two other providers, EAS also chose Inflow due to its financial viability, a proven track record and technical ability.
“We wanted to form a long-term partnership with a provider, and Inflow had everything we were looking for,” Cory added.
Inflow’s upper management team went to the EAS corporate headquarters to make a presentation on Inflow’s secure financial position, which proved to be an impressive visit.
Cory said that the presentation gave him and his team the opportunity to learn about Inflow’s process orientation and leadership.
“Inflow had a very solid management team,” Cory said. “With some companies, management is buried in the corporate layers and you don’t know if you can ever really reach them, or if they would be able to actually listen to your problems or affect change. When Inflow’s management team came to see us, we could see that if we needed to get to the high level people within the company, we would be able to do that. They proved to us that they were both knowledgable and approachable.”
