PUEBLO, Colo. (August 24, 2009) – The Professional Bull Riders, Inc. (PBR) is thrilled to announce an exciting new staff addition to its Sales & Marketing department. Kevin Camper, former Vice President of Sales and Marketing at the Texas Motor Speedway, will join the PBR as its new Chief Sales/Marketing Officer, beginning September 14, 2009.
As PBR’s Chief Sales/Marketing Officer, Camper will be responsible for overseeing and securing national PBR sponsorships in both new business and renewals; maximizing revenue from PBR assets and initiatives; and developing relationships with current and new partners to establish long term viability in the marketplace. He will also be in charge of selling multi-platform national sponsorship packages including integrated packages of rights, assets, and media as well as creating concepts, activation programs, and presentations for new business prospects.
“Kevin is an extremely articulate, knowledgeable, and passionate person about sponsorship,” stated Randy Bernard, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the PBR. “I’ve been able to speak to many of the current partners that Kevin has worked with and everyone has relayed that same message. As the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Texas Motor Speedway, Camper worked the last thirteen years to create new marketing avenues and attract new sponsors, helping make “The Great American Speedway!” one of the first-class racing venues in the country. He also served as the Director of Business Development where he was responsible for bringing together the ticket operations with different marketing campaigns. Camper has also held the title of Director, Ticket Operations and Ticket Manager for the Speedway.
Camper graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Management. After graduating, he worked as the Season Ticket Coordinator for the Texas Rangers Baseball Club for three years before taking a position with the Texas Motor Speedway. Camper will reside in Colorado Springs, Colo., along with his wife, Meredith; son, Chase; and daughter, Emma.
